Hello RV World

There seems to be a relief at the gas pump lately, I for sure am happy. The recreation industry seem to be down quite a bit, but that’s still not going to stop RV’ersfrom traveling more to campgrounds and parks. It is still more cost effective to go camping than to fly somewhere for vacation especially with our U.S. dollar being so weak.

Did you know that the average gas tank for a motor home is around 100 gallons, which means compared to last years gas prices it would actually cost you an extra 100 dollars to fill up. According to a press release, PFK Consulting typical RV family vacations are on average 27% to 61% less expensive than other types of vacations. “

So, if you’ve considered an RV, but think now’s not the time, you might want to think again. This might be just the right time to make your best deal since some RV companies are giving incentives for those in the market for a new RV in today’s economy. Another thing to consider is RV campgrounds and parks are offering incentives to intice more campers to come stay with them. 1. Now is definitely the time to buy an RV. A big advantage of RV living is that when times are tough you can drive less, saving money on fuel, and boondock a couple days a week, saving money on campgrounds. There are some real bargains in RVs on the market now.
